This morning as the doors opened, we made a beeline for the Volvo stand, knowing it would be very crowded around Press Conference time. There we saw what renderings had noted at...a stand with no cars.
Instead, Volvo has described several scenarios for the future of the car: Volvo Care, the subscription service; car sharing; a Google partnership, and an app experience. It's Volvo as a lifestyle, not just a car.
We met our colleague, Volvo Brand Director (and former CDN Editor), Owen Ready, who walked us through the exhibit and shared a secret with us... the cars will be back tomorrow..
