CES 2018: It’s tech time again

08 January 2018 | by Chris Maillard

We’re in Las Vegas this week, reporting from the tech industry’s annual, and enormous, extravaganza. Over the last few years it’s become more and more of an automotive industry essential too, signalling the increasing importance of tech in the transport sector. It’s also become a place where car companies can show off their most conceptual and futuristic ideas, including AV and EV tech but by no means limited to those.

It’s also full of tech companies who want to apply their expertise to the large and profitable car industry, and auto industry people trying to spot the next startup or trend that will give them the edge on their competitors.

CES provides a fascinating contrast to next week’s far more traditional and petrolhead-friendly Detroit NAIAS show. And not just in terms of the weather. So watch out for our coverage this week as the ideas of the future are wheeled out.

Here's a link to all our show coverage. As they say in Las Vegas, enjoy! (and can we have all of your money now please...)
